2007 Summer Youth Workcamp
St. Paul’s Youth

To: Parents and Youth (eighth grade and up)

Greetings!

Our summer workcamp will be June 17 – 23 (Sunday to Saturday).  We are going to the Kentucky Small Farms Project in Beattyville.  The Farm is owned by Leroy Brandenburg.  Many of the older kids know him and they like the facility very much.  We have asked Leroy for a construction project, as the kids prefer this to painting.  We typically spend four days working and one day recreating somewhere in beautiful Kentucky.  The chaperones are myself and Stace Torio.

All youth in senior high are invited (current eighth graders and up through graduated seniors).  The registration fee is $150 for members of the parish.  Nonmembers may join us and their fee is $200.  Funding comes from St. Paul’s parish, youth fundraising, registration fees, and a possible diocesan grant.  Please speak to me if the registration fee is a hardship.  Scholarships are available.

The deadline for registration is Friday, June 1.  Please pay your registration fee by that date.  You may register by contacting me directly.  Send an email to paul@stpaulsmaumee.org, or call the church office.

I look forward to a wonderful trip.  Your prayers and support will be appreciated.

Happy Easter,

J. Paul Board
