Children love to experience new places together and it is a good way for them to get out and enjoy a break in their routine. Field trips are intended as an extension of learning for children and also allows parents be involved in their child's learning process. There are many places that are fun as well as educational in the area. At times, we invite visitors to come into the classroom to offer enriching learning experiences while fostering a relationship with the community around us.

During the course of the school year, we take several field trips.
In the past, we have gone to:

• A Pumpkin Patch
• A Greenhouse
• The Maumee Library
• The Firehouse
• The Police Station
• Children's Wonderland
• The Toledo Zoo
• The Toledo Botanical Garden
• A Horse Farm
• A Park for a Nature Walk

For trips, we require signed permission slips. Parents are responsible for transportation and supervision of their own child.
