Paul's Peer's Respite Care, a ministry of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, is an adult daycare program. Paul’s Peer’s Respite is specially designed for frail and elderly people who cannot be home alone during the day due to physical or mental impairments. Our program provides family caregivers time away from caregiving responsibilities, called respite, so they can work, attend to other responsibilities, or get rest and relaxation. It also provides an opportunity for homebound adults to get out and socialize.
Our services are provided in a small group in a pleasant, homelike setting by qualified and caring staff. These include close supervision and personalized assistance with eating, toileting, walking, and other needs, as well as a schedule of engaging activities designed for the older adult.
We meet Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Maumee, Ohio. Our fee includes a continental breakfast, full lunch, and afternoon snack.

The staff and guests at Paul's Peers Respite Care are extremely thankful for the continued support received from our parent parish of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, and at the diocesan level, from the Episcopal Community Services Foundation.
We would also like to thank the Toledo Community Foundation and our private donors for their generous support.
